BMC81 Batch Get-together

Hi My friend....

Thank you for making my day, our day bright on Sunday, 29th July 07! It was so nice to see you, after a long interval of 20 years...You have not changed a bit!... except for those little less hairs and slight plumpness, you are the same old friend...the same warmth, same smile and same twinkle in your eyes...

Into the dim lit, bare walls of my world,
You entered, bringing light and life to me,
The vivid colors, painted with a swirl
Of wit and charm, of personality,
With tender care, you added comfort, warmth,
And images that line the now bright walls.
I look upon them fondly, bringing forth
A thankfulness that you walk in these halls
With me; our friendship has become a part
Of my world now; it has its special place,
Within my being, life, and in my heart,
Your name hangs right beside your smiling face.
Rememb'ring just how drab these walls had been,
I have to thank you for the light, my friend.

I am sending a DVD along with this letter, as a nostalgic remembrance of Our Class Union..

26 of us had met on Sunday evening. Each contributed a mighty Rs.1500 amounting to
Rs.39,000. We paid Rs. 23,857.00 as Hall & Dinner expenses and Rs.1250.00 towards public address system. Also I have paid Rs.7500 for Video coverage at the College and at the dinner. I have made 40 DVDs by paying Rs.7000, to distribute to you all and also to those who came to the college but couldn’t make it to the evening dinner because of their pre-occupancies.

I have to thank specially Dr.Dinesh Govind Gowda who was the Treasurer for this get-together, who got us the hall and Dinner with good concession using his personal influence...and made the memorable evening for all of us...Thank you Dinesh...

I thank each one of you, your spouse and those little children who shared their time with us...A special thanks to those who came to this get-together from abroad and out of the Bangalore....
