Greetings, I trust this letter finds you in the best of health and spirits!

I am writing this letter to bring to your notice an activity of the Trust. - The BMC Development Trust ( which is a creation of the BMC Alumni Association) is organizing a Inter Medical Quiz Competition to coincide with the cultural festival of RGUHS. In fact this competition is being organized with RGUHS as the co-sponsor, and it is open to all the medical colleges in the state of Karnataka irrespective of whether they are constituent colleges of RGUHS or not.

This is an ambitious programme aimed at the all round development of our medical students which when done in the form of quiz will add an element of fun to the process of learning in addition to providing an opportunity for students from various colleges to meet, make friends and interact.

The BMC Development Trust, after its formation has contributed significantly to achieve its stated objective of improving the infrastructure of BMC by gifting computers and LCD projectors to a number of departments (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Medicine, Radiology and OBG) in course of time as and when the request comes from the other departments we will try and provide help and assistance to them also.

My request is that all of you should take more interest in the activities of the BMC Development Trust and the BMC Alumni Association. We need help by way of financial contribution to run the Digital Library which we have built and donated to BMC ( which incidentally is the biggest and best such facility in any medical college in India) and also by way of personal involvement in spreading the message of the alumni activity and to make the BMC Alumni Association stronger.

In the present instance I request you to see if you can do anything to make this quiz competition an unqualified success. If you are attached to a college see that your college participates in the quiz competition, if not, talk to any of your friends who are attached to a college.

Chandragiri Satyanarayana in Bangalore

Hi folks....

Satya was in India and in Bangalore. The same good old satya. He had come to India along with his son. He travelled diagonally from Thrissur in Kerala to Manipur in the NE India. while he was in Bangalore, Myself and Karanth could meet him. See our photos taken at Hotel Ashoka.....His son really enjoyed the Aloo bonda and Masala Dosa...Also, Sathya has requested me to share his family photo with you all...
